About this film
Red Mesa is slowly disappearing beneath the Texas sun. The mine is closing, the school may be next, and along with jobs and hope, its residents are losing trust in one another. While the adults search for someone to blame, Susie is afraid of something else. Her mother says nightmares do not come true. A few hours later, the desert sky catches fire.
