The last metro of the night skips the city map and stops at stations from the passengers' past: a hospital corridor, an empty school platform, the morning a marriage ended, the day a stranger was not helped. Each episode follows one passenger, but the season arc reveals the train is not offering new lives. It is collecting the moments people still refuse to take responsibility for, whether they damaged someone else or themselves.
